2013 THREE ROUND NFL MOCK Draft: Last Call and Post Revis

Does it really all boil down to Revis for Austin?? (Photo: US Presswire)

We are officially in 2013 NFL Draft week mode. Mr. Revis is gone, in my opinion a practical and future driven move, for a first rounder (#13) and a 3rd rounder, plus a future 5th round….wait, there is no guaranteed 3rd rounder or 5th rounder?!! Just a potential 4th! To be clear ESPN New York (Adam Shefter and Rich Cimini) are reporting if Revis is a Buc in 2014 the second pick is a third, not fourth rounder.

This mock also has another major trade I think will go down. Miami deals up to take… Sorry for the sitcom commercial pitch, but you’ll need to read on to find out about that one!

Now that the dust has all but settled in free agency, we now have a much clearer picture of each team’s needs as the draft approaches (just a month away!). Unexpectedly, the Jets lost several key players and were only able to replace them with a handful of under-the-radar signings.

Here is my latest seven-round Jets mock draft:

2013 NFL Mock Draft: Pre-Free Agency Edition

Do the Jets add a dynamic edge rusher like Mingo or look elsewhere in Round 1? (Photo: US Presswire)

Around this time of year the fluid draft landscape seems to solidify to a degree. We’ve seen their tape, heard about their intangibles and witnessed their athletic tools at the combine. This year the top spot in the draft is still as unclear as ever, but that’s not the only thing different about the 2013 edition.

There is no sure fire first round quarterback. In a passing league that speaks to how weak the class really is at the NFL’s premier position. Alex Smith was traded for and Brandon Albert was franchised but I still like Joeckel at #1 until I hear another player they’re high on, which should happen in the next few weeks or so.

Given the unpredictability of this year’s draft class, the first 30-40 picks can seemingly go in just about any order. Players once projected to be top-15 picks are being mocked in the second round, making this one of the most unpredictable drafts in recent memory.

Here is out updated 7-round Jets mock draft.

2013 NFL Mock Draft: Post Senior Bowl Edition

Bjoern Werner

Where will Bjoern Werner go in April’s draft? (Photo: US Presswire)

By Kyle Casey, Staff Writer

With the Senior Bowl over, only the combine separates us from now and the draft. That means that mock drafts will be out in full force until April 25th.

With three months to go it’s tough to determine what will happen. The quarterbacks in this year’s draft could change the whole landscape, especially if the Chiefs decide to take one or not. There may be a team that trades back into the mid-to-late first round, so please keep that in mind since I can’t predict a trade.
