Here we are folks, the last precious days that lie in between us fans and the long awaited NFL Draft.  Trade and interest smokescreens are polluting our heads, even more so than recent years.  Without a doubt, this draft will be as unpredictable and shocking as any other years.  So what better way to embrace the chaos than by dirtying the already mucky water?

With the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine drills starting on Saturday, the entire NFL world will be centered in on the more than 300 prospects who will workout in front of teams over the next few days.

The combine isn’t the end-all-be-all for a prospect’s draft stock, but many players head into Indy with something to prove. Whether it’s speed, strength, health or character concerns, a prospect must clear up the concerns surrounding him in order to avoid a rapid slide down draft boards.

If this disturbing trend of bad Jets football continues, there is a good chance that they will be picking in the top five and getting first dibs at an elite player.
