Rex Ryan has finally settled on an offensive coordinator, calling on longtime Eagles coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and his modified version of the West Coast offense to get the Jets’ offense on track.
Mornhinweg is a passing guru, evidenced by the Eagles’ success in the passing game through over the past several years. This is the total opposite of what the recently-fired Tony Sparano was as an offensive line guru. When you consider how bad the Jets offense was last year, doing exactly the opposite of what they have been doing is hardly a bad thing.
